Summary:
The Gospel of Mark records excitement in Capernaum one Sabbath as news spread that Jesus had healed a demon possessed man in the Synagogue! The demon even begged for mercy, calling Jesus “The Holy One of God”! So, after sunset, the whole village crowded around the home where Jesus was staying, hoping to receive healing and deliverance as well. Jesus had the authority to heal them all! Still, He rose before sunrise, found a secluded place, and prayed to His Father. The Kingdom of God was at hand!
